PHOENIX – September 1, 2011 – is pleased to announce the addition of Nick Saldi as the company’s new marketing manager.

In his new role as marketing manager, Saldi will be responsible for coordinating sales efforts, lead generation and customer retention activities as well as customer communication. He will also provide support to the training team for the company’s new online restaurant management program, SMART Systems Pro.

Saldi’s experience working in restaurants began when he was only 14 years old. He’s performed every job imaginable in the restaurant industry from dishwasher to bartender, to line cook and manager. Based on these experiences, Saldi felt compelled to open his own restaurant nearly seven years ago.

Saldi attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he pursued a degree in business administration. In 2005, with the help of his brother and two other partners, Saldi opened Legends Patio Grill and Bar in Omaha, Neb. “I’m honored to join team and share my experiences,” said Saldi. “Before attending David’s semi-annual restaurant workshop in Las Vegas, I worked more than 60 hours a week and never saw my wife and kids. By implementing what I learned there, I have been able to hire a management team to run my business day to day while increasing the overall bottom line. And I have a life again!”

Saldi added, the systems changed his quality of life and the way he runs his company, and that he looks forward to helping other restaurateurs find the same kind of relief.
