It’s not enough to tell them not to do it.

Sexual harassment is rampant in the restaurant industry, and because of that, it’s not “if” you get hit with a sexual harassment issue, but “when.” Not only do you need to incorporate anti-sexual harassment into your training, but you need to have a policy about sexual harassment and a grievance procedure. The policy tells your employees what your position is on sexual harassment, what will happen if anyone claims sexual harassment and how to file a complaint of sexual harassment. It’s a great tool to back up what you provide in training and another great piece of protection for you when someone wants to file a lawsuit against you.
