The FDA is updating the list of areas deemed safe from where restaurant owners can get their tomatoes and it now includes:

  • Arkansas
  • California
  • Georgia
  • Hawaii
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • Texas
  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • Dominican Republic
  • Guatemala
  • Israel
  • Netherlands
  • Puerto Rico
  • This list is as of the FDA’s Web site on June 11.
