Bring In the Implementer

If you’re like most of the independent restaurant owners I work with, you are probably a hyped up Type A personality. I bet you are always coming up with great new ideas for your restaurant that are only matched by your great enthusiasm.

But you know what else I know about you? I bet you are great at starting something and then getting distracted and never finishing it. Does that sound familiar? Can you say it applies in even some instances?

Don’t worry about it. I have the solution for turning this weakness into a strength and it’s called an IMPLEMENTER!

Sounds impressive, doesn’t it?

Well, if you take this advice to heart, your results are what will be impressive. The implementer is that someone who sits next to you, hears all of your ideas and then turns around and gets the job done. It’s your one key person that you count on, that knows what needs to get done and then gets it done.

Do you have someone like that on your staff? If you don’t, you need to get one. If you have someone on your team who you can count on and fits this description, promote them and put them in the role that will help your restaurant the most.
