A Team Approach To Blogging.
Authored by David Scott Peters
Welcome back to the David Scott Peters blog. Did you miss me? I sure missed you.
I’m excited to be back on here, and I have to apologize for being gone for so long. When I launched this blog, I fully intended to post weekly. But life and business just got the best of me and before I knew it a whole year flew by. Life is crazy, the business is growing, my workshops are exploding, and I barely have time to sit down and enjoy it.
But even though I know you can understand, it’s no excuse. As much as I try to teach you to delegate and hire people to help you, I have just as hard of a time remembering to follow my own advice.
That’s not the case any more. I know the key to my success is finding people who can help me and make me stronger, so that’s just what I’ve done. And if I’m building a stronger team, imagine what more I can do for you.
Now, not only can you count on at least one post a month from me, but you can count on at least one new post per week from my team of expert coaches. I want to encourage you to keep this blog on your favorites and to check back every week to see who the new post is from.
In addition to my posts, I’ve assembled a great team of people with varied expertise who have agreed to contribute on a regular basis.
Those people include Marketing Coach ReNae Morse, Chef/Restaurant Owner and Coach Fred Langley, Multi-unit Owner and Coach David Militello, Public Relations Consultant Jenny Brooks, Training Expert and Partner in Product Tracy Yandow, and my mother, Linda Peters-Getchell, who always has a bit of sage advice for restaurant owners and managers.
Not only will you read about my experience and opinions, but also those of this diverse group of restaurant experts. Between the seven of us, there’s nothing we can’t cover. And maybe we’ll have a guest blogger now and then in case something comes up!
And along the way, if you have ideas of subjects you really want us to cover, send me an e-mail at david@smilebutton.com. I’d love to hear from you and so would the others on this Mastermind Group.
Consider us your resource for running a great restaurant and make sure to check back regularly.
Here’s to a great 2008!
Remember to keep smiling,
David Scott Peters
